Further information on this book
From above, the starling thinks everything is so wonderful: the grass-covered plain, the wheat fields, the clouds, the breeze from the sea, how the sky can be clear. It wants to make a song of it, a song about the beauty of everything. He tells it to the other birds and each of them has something to add to his song: for the woodpecker the beauty of the trees, for the owl the beauty of the night, for the kingfisher the water…
This beautifully illustrated picture book reminds us of the infinite beauty that can be found in everyday life, if we look close enough.
